Mission

• To establish a strong agricultural technology cooperation network with Latin American and Caribbean countries through the multilateral cooperation initiative
• To disseminate Korea’s advanced agricultural technology in Latin American and Caribbean countries
• To organize agricultural exchange programs between Korea and Latin American and Caribbean countries

Vision

• To contribute to resolving the current agricultural issues inLatin American and Caribbean countries
• To improve Korea’s national image and become the advanced country in agriculture
• To enhance the agricultural productivity of the member countries and facilitate the use of agricultural products in Latin American and Caribbean countries

• On September 15, 2014, KoLFACI was officially inaugurated in Jeonju, Korea, with delegates from 13 member countries, including Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Republic of Korea.
• The first KoLFACI General Assembly Meeting was held in Jeonju on September 15, 2014, along with the relocation ceremony of Rural Development Administration (RDA) from Suwon to Jeonju.
